Cheeseburger fries

3 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 1/4 c. milk 1/2 c. shredded cheese  **You can use 1 can of condensed cheese soup instead (I also added 3 tbsp of onion blossom horseradish dip from Sunset Gourmet) http://sunsetgourmet.ca/products/condiments-sauces-spreads/onion-blossom-horseradish-dip/ 1/2 lb fried ground hamburger 1/2 med. green or red pepper, chopped  1/2 onion sliced thinly  1 pkg. frozen French fried crinkle cut potatoes 1/2 cup shredded cheese For sauce, in a large saucepan melt the butter. Stir in flour and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Add half of the shredded cheese, stirring until cheese melts.  In a baking dish sprinkle ground beef, toss peppers and onions as desired on top. Pour sauce over meat. Cover and chill. Throw frozen fries over the meat/cheese mixture and bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until potatoes are tender and mixture ...

Prep ahead hamburger bake

In a large bowl mix 1 lb hamburger and 1 package of sausage (meat removed from casings) or any ground meat really with 1 chopped onion, 1tbsp SUNSET GOURMET onion seasoning and 1tbsp of SUNSET GOURMET garlic seasoning and a couple dashes of worchestershire sauce. Add one cup of water/stock liquid and allow to simmer on medium until cooked and liquid has evaporated. Drain only if there is a LOT of grease. Pour into a PAMPERED CHEF pan (no greasing for those - your option if you are using pyrex or metal itin) Top with 1 cup of shredded cheese. Now set into fridge for meal next day. 1/2 cup of BISQUICK biscuit mix 1 cup milk 2 eggs ******As I never have BISQUICK on hand: 2 cups flour 1 tbsp baking powder 1/2 tbsp salt 1/3 cup shortening 1/2 cup milk 1 egg Avoid lumps and pour over meat mixture. Almost Cabbage Rolls Casserole

1 lb. ground beef 3/4 c. uncooked long-grain rice 1 large onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (28 oz) can tomato cause 1/4 c. cider vinegar 2 tbsp. brown sugar, packed 1 tbsp. dry mustard 8 cups cabbage, coarsely chopped (1/2 head) In large bowl, mix together beef,rice, onion, garlic, salt and pepper.  In small bowl, stir together tomato sauce, vinegar, brown sugar and mustard.  Layer 1/3 of the cabbage in bottom of 3-quart deep casserole.  Arrange half of the beef mixture on top.  Cover with another 1/3 of the cabbage and then add the remaining beef mixture.  Cover with remaining cabbage.  Pour tomato sauce mixture over top, but do not stir.  Casserole will be quite full.  Cover; let sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.  Bake at 325 F for 2 hours, without stirring. Mom wasn't crazy about it.  I liked it quite a bit but I think next time I wouldn't use quite so much cabbage.
