large batch cabbage rolls

The very first thing you do: 2 small fabric bags (sachets) pickling spice 2 large cans tomato juice Chopped onion to taste Garlic Half a head of celery cut into chunky pieces Diced Peppers Diced tomatoes or cherry tomatoes A pinch of chili flakes Place all into a roaster (love the counter top one) And start boiling this. This will become your sauce. Next: Boil about 2 cups of rice. Drain and set aside. Next: Core 2 large heads of cabbage Place hole down into a pot of boiling water **enough water to have cabbage half immersed Turn heat to medium and put lid on (best you can) In our kitchen this is one man's job, so if you are doing this recipe alone, continue with these instructions before continuing. After about 5 minutes you should be able to start peeling off whole leaves.  Pull off and place on clean tea towel. Continue until the leaves are too small to use. Dice this remaining cabbage and toss into the sauce. Next: Mix together 2 family size packages of ground meat your cooked

lasagna (freezer stock)

4 packages lasagna noodles 2 family packages of ground meat Already fried and cooled 3 LG cottage cheese or ricotta 6 eggs 10 frozen spinach bundles Salt and pepper Italian seasoning 1 bundle of celery diced 2 LG onions diced 2 green or red peppers diced Garlic 2 cans diced  6 cans pasta sauce 4 bricks cheese shredded Parmigan Foil pans with lids  (I like 2 sizes. Cake and meatloaf) Ziploc bags to pack them in Boil pasta JUST to not rigid. ** even if it is ready to bake. Ready to bake recipes require more liquid and I did not like the texture. Lay noodles flat to cool on a clean dish towel. Mix cottage cheese with eggs, spinach and seasonings. Mix celery, onions, peppers, garlic and diced tomatoes with 3 cans of pasta sauce. Set out all foil pans and add a bit of pasta sauce to the bottom of each to avoid sticking. Take your 4 bowls and set up for assembly. 2 packages of XL shell noodles 2 alfredo sauce 4 LG chicken breast cooked and diced 2 packages of bacon cooked and diced 2 containers of cherry tomatoes Or 2 cans diced tomatoes (drained) 2 green peppers dices 1 onion diced 3 stalks celery diced Salt Pepper Garlic Italian seasoning Parmesan cheese 6 to 8 slices provolone cheese 1 cup toasted bread crumbs foil pans with lids to fit YOUR meal size Boil shell noodles to non rigid And cool on a clean towel. Place cooled to touch noodles Into a bowl of water to avoid stickiness. In large bowl Mix both meats with 1 jar of alfredo In a food processor Lightly chop tomatoes, celery, onions, peppers then add spices. In foil pans add a little sauce to avoid sticking. Now stuff all the shells with the meat mixture And place in foil pans in logical amounts for YOUR family. Cover each set of pasta shells with whatever Alfredo sauce is left. Then spoon the veggie mixture over them Top with provolone. Divide bread crumbs into enough snack

Family pack of ground meat 2 cans of pasta sauce Celery Onion Green pepper Salt Pepper Italian seasoning Garlic 1 1\2 cups bread crumbs 3 packages of Canelloni noodles Or manicotti noodles or large shells 1 family size brick shredded cheese Foil pans with lids (YOUR family meal size) Ziploc bags those pans fit into. In a food processor  Chop celery onion and green pepper or chop by hand to fine pieces. Add 4 seasonings and bread crumbs. To ground meat  Add 1\3 cup of pasta sauce And mixture you made. Mix well. Boil pasta in small batches To avoid breakage Only to non rigid state Then scoop out to cool on a clean towel. Place cooled to touch pasta  into a large bowl of water To stop stickiness. Pour small amount of pasta sauce Into foil pans to prevent sticking when baking. Using the meat mixture, Make hot dog shaped meat mixtures And stuff into shells, filling from end to end. Place into pans in batches that make sense To feeding you family. Cover the batches in sauce And s

hamburger casserole

1lb cooked ground beef (drained and cooled) 1 cup chicken noodle soup noodles (cooked) 1/2 diced onion 1/2 diced green pepper 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp minced garlic Salt and pepper Toss everything in a bowl  and put into a casserole dish. Cover with shredded cheese. 1 package of bisquik and milk  or your favourite recipe Or refrigerator biscuits 1/8 cup butter (melted) Mix up a batch of biscuits using milk not water). Cover the top of the casserole with the dough.  Drizzle melted butter on top. Bake at 350 degrees until biscuits are cooked through. I served with 2 veggies. "Bon Appetit!"
