beef stroganoff

Ingredients: 2 cups beef cubes 3 tbsp flour  2 tbsp canola oil 1 onions, finely chopped  2 tbsp butter 1 cup beef broth 16 thinly sliced button mushrooms 1 shaved carrot 2 tbsp tomato paste  1 can evaporated milk 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce  salt and pepper to taste   Now: Coat the meat with flour. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.  Sauté the chopped until traslucent,  then set aside. Turn the heat up high, add the butter,  and brown the pieces of meat in the same pan,  until nicely coloured, about 5 min.  ***For large quantities,  avoid crowding the meat in the pan  and work in batches.  Add the warm broth to deglaze the pan.  Put the onion back in  and season with salt and pepper.  Start cooking gently, covered,  for about 20-25 min. pork and beef bbq

Mix together: 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste 3 cans of water 2 cups tomato juice 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup chili powder 1/4 cup cider vinegar 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon salt In a counter top roaster on high (350) Stir to mix everything Add: 1-1/2 pounds beef 1-1/2 pounds pork ***mine was frozen! And I definitely would not use cubes like the original recipe asked for!!!! Inexpensive steaks and chops or roast and loin.... You cannot shred cubes!!!!! Add: 2 chopped green peppers 2 chopped onions ***I processed these as I wanted Sauce not chunks. Let roast for 3 to 5 hours covered Stirring occasionally. Shred meats. Transfer into crock pot to continue. Lower temp to medium low. Cook for another 1-3 hours. Uncover if the sauce is too liquidy. Put on buns, Serve with lettuce and tomatoes if desired. Add some fries and coleslaw For a yummy rainy day bbq style meal. "Bon appetit!"

1/2 pound pork tenderloin 3 tablespoons bread crumbs 1 tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 teaspoon salt Dash pepper 2 teaspoons canola oil 1 garlic clove, minced Cut pork into 4 slices ***I left whole  Flatten to as much as possible.  In a large shallow dish,  combine the bread crumbs, seasoning,  cheese, salt and pepper.  Coat pork, 1 slice at a time Pressing the coating in. In a large skillet over medium heat,  Cook pork in oil until meat is no longer pink,  2-3 minutes on each side.  Remove and keep warm in oven. Add garlic, cook for a couple minutes, Serve on pork. Serve with pasta, salad and bread. "Bon Appetit!"

slow cooker teriyaki chicken

Easy peasy supper 2 pounds skinless chicken 1 medium onion, thinly sliced 1 green pepper, thinly sliced 4 garlic cloves, minced 1 tablespoon minced fresh gingerroot 1 cup chicken broth 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup honey 1/4 teaspoon pepper Optional 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Place chicken in a 3- or 4-qt. slow cooker.  Top with onion, garlic and ginger.  Combine broth, soy sauce, honey,  pepper flakes and pepper;  pour over chicken.  Cook, covered, on low  Until chicken is no longer pink, 3-1/2 - 4 hours. Remove chicken. In a small bowl mix: 3 tablespoons cornstarch 3 tablespoons cold water Until smooth; gradually stir into slow cooker. Cook, covered, on medium high until sauce is thickened, 15 to 30 minutes.  *** I removed it from the crock pot And used a pot to speed this part up. When chicken is cool enough to handle,  Debone and  shred chicken with 2 forks;  Then return to slow cooker. Serve with rice or noodles ...

cheeseburger pizza

What do you do When your bbq gets rained out? Cheeseburger pizza! 1 favourite pizza crust Pizza sauce Lots shredded cheese 1lb cooked ground beef Italian seasoning Garlic powder On a pizza stone Lay out your pizza base And top with sauce and cheese Sprinkle with spices. Sprinkle with ground beef Add: Favourite burger toppings like: Diced tomatoes Diced onions Diced peppers Jalapenos Bacon crumbles Chili peppers Cover with lots parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. While it is baking mix together: 1 cup mayo 2 tbsp ketchup 1.5 tsp big burger mix (epicure) Drizzle over pizza while it is hot. "Bon appetit!"

Got leftovers? Shred or dice up some  cooked boneless chicken. Add 1\3 cup to a bottle of your  Favourite bbq sauce. The mixture should be thick Not watery. I used a Pillsbury pizza dough But use your favourite base. Top with shredded cheese And parmesan, I like lots. Now what are your favourite toppings? I added thinly sliced onions, Diced green pepper, Sliced mushrooms And crumbled bacon. "Bon appetit!"

saucy beef and brocolli

Mix together: 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1/2 cup reduced-sodium beef broth 1/4 cup wine or additional beef broth 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 garlic clove, minced 1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot Set aside. Stir fry cook for 1 to 3 minutes: 1 teaspoon oil 1/2 pound beef cut into 1/4-inch-thick strips *** I used a leftover steak from a bbq! Remove and set aside. Stir fry mix: 1 tsp oil 2 cups fresh small broccoli florets 8 green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces Cook until crisp-tender, 3-5 minutes.  Add green onions and cook just until tender About 1-2 minutes.  Stir cornstarch mixture and add to pan.  Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Then cook and stir until sauce is thickened About 2-3 minutes.  Add beef and heat through. Serve on egg noodles or rice And with large salad. "Bon appetit!"
